When I started working as a cashier in June 2014, I had a very warm welcome and an outpouring of support from many team members who immediately believed in me and my ability to achieve. With GCO’s ongoing support, trust, great program and positive feedback to us team members who demonstrate responsibility and address our mistakes, this makes us feel valued which fosters a more positive and empowering work environment. This is also an incentive for me to continue to develop and strive for growth. Also, I wanted to express my gratitude to my managers, who set a good example and had a big influence on me to work hard and grow. Apart from that, I have a wonderful family who, above all, gives me the strength to persevere and remain optimistic even when the odds are stacked against me. Furthermore, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the organization for providing an outstanding work environment from day one and for appreciating us regardless of hierarchy. The work atmosphere, coworkers, helpful managers and supervisors are all things that encourage me to aim high not only for myself, but also for the organization.
