Subject: Global Gaming Engagement Survey– Results Overview
Dear Global Gaming Team,
I want to express my gratitude to all of you for the remarkable 84% response rate to our second Employee Engagement Survey for 2024. This participation rate demonstrates your deep commitment to your workplace, your colleagues, and to continuously improving our shipboard work environment.
Based on your feedback, over the last 3 years we made multiple changes to several key areas that shape your shipboard experience, from process improvements and benefits to compensation and recognition.
Here are some things we learned from our initial review of the results:
Our Team Engagement Index: Excellent
The most important piece of data we receive from the engagement survey is our organization-wide Engagement Index. Global Gaming’s Engagement Index is 93%; this metric is the combination of responses to the four items summarized below:
- 90% of team members feel satisfied and that their work provides a sense of personal accomplishment
- 93% of team members feel secure in their employment at Global Gaming
- 93% of team members feel motivated and look forward to going to work
- 96% of team members feel proud to work for Global Gaming
Other Observations
- Our overall key strengths are in the areas of culture, well-being, guest focus and communication.
- We have opportunities to improve in the sphere of recognition and leadership effectiveness (building trust, fairness).
We know Global Gaming is a special place and from where I sit, I see evidence of it daily. Preserving this spirit is essential, and we are committed to further enhancing our success.
In the upcoming months, shoreside operations leaders and operational rovers will engage with all shipboard leaders to review individual ship results and develop action plans based on your feedback. These discussions will drive changes aimed at improving your environment.
Furthermore, the shoreside team will continue to own action planning in the area of recognition and appreciation.
I would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that starting with 2025, we will move to a yearly cadence, thus aligning our approach with the rest of the corporate brands and departments.
Thank you,
Marty
